7: A Beautiful Witness - Pastor Russell Korets

In this sermon on 1 Peter 2:11–12, “A Beautiful Witness,” the message highlights how early Christians transformed a hostile Roman world not through power or argument, but through holy, sacrificial lives that made people ask, “What kind of God produces this?”  Drawing from Peter’s call to live as “sojourners and exiles,” the sermon challenges believers to remember their true identity in God’s kingdom, resist the internal war of sinful desires (the flesh), and recognize the external pressures of the world and the schemes of the devil. Rather than blending into culture, Christians are called to live honorably and distinctly—fighting sin through closeness with Christ and displaying lives so marked by integrity, love, and faithfulness that even critics may ultimately glorify God.
